I have a feeling that Phil Coulson isn’t dead.
In the movie he’s only seen passing out, non-responsive as paramedics approach and then it’s Nick Fury who says over the radio that “they called it”, we don’t see them calling time of death. Then he uses Coulson’s “death” and his vintage Captain America cards with blood on them (but not Coulson’s blood since he kept them in his locker not on him) to bring the team together to fight.
or maybe that’s just wishful thinking…
